The song parody You Are My Moonshine is of course a spoof on the classic song You Are My Sunshine. I basically said to myself what would the opposite of this classic song be like and came up with You Are My Moonshine which obviously had to be a drinking song. Then I thought back to the days of prohibition and the days of Al Capone and the rumrunners and how much people depended upon their alcohol then (and now) to make life a little easier and worth living.
